The tile floor rings hollowly in the chamber. Amidst the heavy moisture coating each breath, the fetid stink of death weighs heavily. A lone throne flanked by a pair of stone braziers sit ominously empty. Thick spiderwebs span from the angelic statue looming over the throne, the once-pretty face now hidden behind silken strands. Skittering echoes from the dark caverns broken through the walls on the upper balconies. A trail of blood, still sticky and fresh, leads into the yawning maw of death.

What terrors lie in wait within the caverns beyond this site? What monsters will crawl from the fog-bound depths as your party approaches the web-covered throne? And what creature left the bloodstains disappearing into the dark?
