Torches gutter around the central pool, their light gleaming off stalagmites and making the shadows eerily darker. A pair of paths steadily circumvent the pool, rising to a large, glowing altar. Chants echo in the darkness from hoarse, enraptured voices, filling the chamber with eerie dread.
